Responsibility for Our Planet

At Mandarin Oriental, Prague, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint through tangible and measurable actions.

We have successfully eliminated single-use plastics across the hotel by introducing refillable bathroom amenities, reusable kitchen tools, and sustainable packaging. To further reduce waste, linens and towels are refreshed every third day, while food waste is closely monitored to optimise preparation and minimise overproduction. To support greener travel, we also provide an electric vehicle charging station in our garage.

Responsibility for Our Guests

Sustainability and guest comfort go hand in hand at our hotel, prioritising well-being and meaningful experiences. Our Monastery Garden provides fresh, locally grown herbs used in our culinary creations, enhancing sustainability and flavour. At our Spa, guests enjoy specialised, effective treatments focused on holistic approaches, featuring locally sourced products from Lavender Valley that reflect our commitment to sustainable wellness.

Responsibility for Our Community

At Mandarin Oriental, Prague, we take pride in supporting our local community through hands-on initiatives. Each colleague receives one paid day per year to volunteer for a cause of their choice. Recent activities include caring for animals at Útulek Bohnice, hosting a spa experience for women from Život 90, helping with tree aftercare in city parks, and assisting a special primary school after its renovation.
