More about our hotel’s sustainability journey

Responsibility for Our Planet

Since 2012, the hotel has maintained four rooftop beehives, welcoming around 1,200 bees which find refuge in our garden. Our chefs select most of our products from local terroirs. Alongside our MSC and ASC certified suppliers, we collaborate with Ethic Ocean to reinforce our commitment to responsible sourcing and ethical seafood consumption. With recently installed NORDAQ filtered water, we have reduced CO2 emissions by eliminating the transportation of glass bottles globally.

Responsibility for Our Guests

We offer our guests options that reflect our environmental commitments. In an effort to preserve resources, we encourage you to participate in our linen and towel reuse programme. Our dedicated hotel concierge team is also delighted to organise personalised tours to discover sustainable activities and local wildlife around the hotel.

Responsibility for Our Community

Mandarin Oriental, Paris actively encourages colleagues to get involved in charity initiatives, whether by participating in fundraising races or supporting causes they are passionate about. We extend our support by donating essential items such as soap and linens to local organisations.
