More about our hotel’s sustainability journey

Responsibility for Our Planet

Sustainability guides every detail of our operations. Today, 99% of single-use plastics have been removed, and all guest amenities are presented in beautiful refillable bottles. From responsibly sourced seafood and cage-free eggs to advanced energy-saving technologies and LED lighting, every choice reflects our commitment to a greener future.

Seasonal and Local products at Viktualienmarkt

Responsibility for Our Guests

We are proud to champion local producers throughout the hotel. Our minibar features carefully selected regional specialties, while our culinary teams at Breakfast, The Lounge, and Matsuhisa Munich partner with trusted local suppliers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. From fresh seasonal ingredients to artisanal beverages, each product reflects the rich flavours and craftsmanship of our community.

Responsibility for Our Community

Our commitment to the community extends beyond the hotel. We support local initiatives that foster connection and care - from our Run Club in the English Garden to volunteering at an orphanage’s summer party and assisting elderly residents with Lichtblick e.V. Every effort reflects our belief that true hospitality begins with giving back.
